Your Kitomba 1 Point-of-Sale functionality is growing! While you can already redeem vouchers in Kitomba 1, you will soon be able to sell vouchers too.
After you receive this update you’ll be able to sell and redeem all vouchers from anywhere on any device—making it easy for your team to take every opportunity to encourage repeat business, showcase special offers, and boost your revenue.
Selling vouchers in Kitomba 1 is a great way to:
- Boost cash flow by securing upfront payments for future purchases.
- Encourage repeat business from existing clients to return to redeem vouchers.
- Help new clients discover you through gift vouchers.
This functionality is available to Platinum and Diamond customers.
When will I receive this functionality?
We’ll be updating all our customers’ software slowly over the next little while—if you can’t yet see the option to sell vouchers in Kitomba 1, you will be able to soon!
You’ll receive a message from us immediately after we update your Kitomba 1 to let you know when the functionality is ready for you to use.
What’s new with Vouchers in Kitomba 1?
Once the update is complete you’ll be able to do the following:
1. Sell vouchers straight from your appointment book
No need to jump between devices or tabs, Kitomba 1 gives you the ability to sell vouchers straight from the Appointment Book. Simply use the ‘Add new’ button on the left side panel to sell a voucher to any casual, new or existing customer.
Do you have more than one business? Selling vouchers to clients across different business locations is seamless. You can search across other locations for existing clients when you’re selling a voucher so you can neatly keep track of all voucher transactions.
2. Add a voucher to any purchase at the end of a sale
We know how busy the front desk can get. When clients are trying to pay for their appointment, products and a gift voucher in the same transaction, you can now ensure a quick and seamless checkout.
The new ‘Add voucher’ button when completing a sale will help you capture all your clients’ purchases quickly and easily.
3. Sell vouchers to walk-ins through the Sales tab
Never miss an opportunity to secure future revenue. Whether you’re selling a voucher to a casual, new or existing client you can jump into the Sales tab and capture all the important details like voucher number and value, expiry date, recipient’s name and more.
4. Securely track vouchers
Avoid running into security risks by securely tracking vouchers in Kitomba 1.
If vouchers aren’t securely tracked they could be created and redeemed multiple times, resulting in financial loss for your business. Kitomba 1 solves this problem beautifully by automatically securely tracking each voucher sold in Kitomba 1, giving you peace of mind.
Please note, you can still sell and redeem vouchers in Kitomba.
How will I know when I can sell Vouchers in Kitomba 1?
If you are on our Platinum or Diamond package we’ll send you a message immediately after we update your software.
If you’ve signed up to receive our emails, you’ll receive an email letting you know when this functionality has been added. You can log in to Kitomba 1 to sell vouchers from a walk-in invoice in both the Appointment Book and the Sales tab, or when invoicing an appointment.
