Good news! Vouchers are now available in Kitomba 1 and Online Booking, so you can manage Vouchers from anywhere, on any device.
If you’re a single site salon, with access to the Products & Services tab in Kitomba 1, you’ll receive this feature over the coming weeks.
Vouchers in Kitomba 1
There’s a new option in the ‘Products & Services’ tab – Vouchers. Soon you’ll be able to:
- Search for vouchers
- View, edit and cancel vouchers
- Download lists of vouchers
- Create free vouchers
- Import vouchers
Search for vouchers
You can quickly search for vouchers in Kitomba 1 and see all of their key details:
View, edit and cancel vouchers
When you search for a voucher you’ll be given the option to view transactions, edit or cancel it:
When you edit a voucher, you’re given the option of changing the:
- Remaining value
- Expiry date
- Notes
Download lists of vouchers
You can download a list of:
- Vouchers with a remaining balance
- All vouchers (you’re no longer able to get a list of all vouchers in Kitomba)
Create free vouchers
If you’d like to run a promotion or giveaway, you can create free vouchers in Kitomba 1. They can be redeemed and tracked just like regular vouchers.
Import vouchers
This gives you the option of importing a batch of vouchers created outside of Kitomba, for example, from a daily deals website.
Simply structure your voucher numbers as specified in Kitomba’s instructions and import the list so you can track redemptions.
Report on vouchers and concessions in Kitomba 1
We’re also adding these reports to Kitomba 1 so you can run them from anywhere:
- Vouchers sold and redeemed
- Concessions sold and redeemed
- Concessions with a remaining balance
Vouchers and Concessions in Online Booking
Now your clients can view their Voucher and Concessions balances when they log into Online Booking.

This is great! Will there be an option when a client books in online to enter their voucher number rather then paying a deposit?

What about gift vouchers that are purchased as gifts/surprise. We link these to clients account so we can clearly see what amount the client has on their gift cert. The client will be able to see this when they log in? Is there a way to turn this feature off?

This is great! How will the voucher numbers be generated? We currently sell physical vouchers with preprinted voucher numbers on them. Is there a way to ensure we don’t have double ups with voucher numbers?

Glad to hear you like our new feature! Voucher numbers for online vouchers are long and generated completely randomly. Due to this it’s highly unlikely you’ll experience double ups.
