Send a text campaign using Kitomba 1

7 Dec 2021 by Kitomba

If you’re a Platinum or Diamond customer, it’s now simple to send a text campaign to your clients from anywhere, at any time, on any device!

This makes it easy to remind your regulars that you’ve got a Mother’s Day discount, or tell all your clients that your business is reopening soon.

How it works

1. Head to the “Marketing” tab in Kitomba 1, where you’ll see a new option on the drop down menu: “Text campaigns”.

2. From here you can choose to send your message to all clients or create a list using our filters. Use a predefined date range or try out our new filter which allows you to choose a custom date range. If you have multiple locations, you’ll be prompted to choose which locations you want to send your text message to.final screenshot for text campaign

3. You can easily insert the first name of the recipient or your business name so your message is more personalised. Once you hit send, the text will be sent out immediately

View your past campaigns

Once you’ve started sending text campaigns, your past campaigns will appear underneath the “Create a text campaign” button, like in the example below. You can see when the campaign was sent, and how many messages were sent.

When you click on “View details” you’ll be presented with more information, like which filters were used, what the message was, and be able to view and download a list of all recipients.

If your business has multiple branches, you can also view their past campaigns. However, staff without access will not be able to view the details of the campaigns from other branches.
