Occasionally clients no longer want to receive marketing communications and it’s important to ensure they don’t continue to get them. So now when your clients unsubscribe in MailChimp, ‘accepts promotions’ will automatically be turned off in Kitomba.
Here’s how it works:
Clients can choose to unsubscribe
If a client no longer wants to receive your marketing communications, they can use the unsubscribe link in your MailChimp campaigns to opt-out.
Here’s an example of the unsubscribe link we include at the bottom of Kitomba communications:
Tip! Legally you must have an unsubscribe link in your campaigns, and MailChimp and Kmail templates automatically include one.
Kitomba will automatically unsubscribe clients
When a client chooses to unsubscribe from your communications in MailChimp:
- Kitomba will automatically untick ‘Accepts promos’
- Kitomba 1 will automatically default ‘Send promotions’ to No
When this happens, Kitomba will:
- No longer include them in client lists created to send marketing campaigns in MailChimp or Kmail.
- No longer send them Everyday marketing campaigns via Kmail or text message.
