New! Loyalty Expiry Dates

Loyal clients are a vital part of growing a successful business! That’s why we’re always developing and improving Kitomba Loyalty. And it’s only getting better and better!

We’ve added loyalty expiry dates to Kitomba 1 and Online Booking:

We thought we’d update you on all the Kitomba 1 Loyalty features available to you too:

Loyalty in Kitomba 1

We know you’re not always in the salon, so of course Loyalty needs to be in Kitomba 1. Here’s what you can see:  

Client records

View your client’s loyalty balances and expiry dates in their client card.

Reporting

The Loyalty Balance Report lets you see client loyalty balances as well as loyalty earned, redeemed and expired.

Marketing

Run even more targeted marketing campaigns to your clients with Kitomba dollars. Visit the marketing tab, use the loyalty filters and send campaigns to:

  • Let your clients know if their Kitomba Loyalty Dollars are about to expire
  • Update clients on their loyalty balance to entice them to book an appointment
  • Inform clients that they’re close to reaching their reward

Remember, it’s important to send specific messages to targeted groups of people because the more relevant your message, the more likely your clients are to read it and act on it. For tips on Campaign Marketing with MailChimp, check out our blog and the Knowledge base.

Loyalty in Online Booking for your clients

When it comes to loyalty programs, one of the keys to success is giving your clients something tangible. Being able to visually see their dollars adding up is a great way to continuously show they’re being rewarded. It also ensures they’re excited to return as they’ll receive something valuable for their loyalty.

That’s why your clients can see their loyalty balance and expiry dates in Online Booking! Now when your clients log into Online Booking they’ll be able to:

  • View their loyalty balance
  • New! See when their Kitomba dollars are expiring
  • See their appointments
  • Book new appointments
  • Upload and view photos
  • Check your opening hours
  • See your business blurb
  • View your contact details

The addition of expiry dates gives your clients the ability to see if they have any Kitomba dollars expiring within the next 6 weeks. That way they can ensure they book an appointment before their loyalty dollars expire!  

If you don’t want your clients to see their loyalty balance and expiry date in Online Booking, you can deselect this option in your settings.

We weren’t able to roll Kitomba 1 Loyalty out to all of our customers last year. If you didn’t receive it, we’re finalising the details to activate Loyalty for you in May. So look out for our emails and social media updates next month!
