2015 at Kitomba

21 Jan 2016 by Kitomba

We had a big year at Kitomba. We built a bunch of awesome features, hired some great new team-members, and launched our new look Online Booking system!

Here’s a look back at a few of our favourite moments of 2015.

New Features

The development team had a busy year building lots of awesome features. Some of the biggest ones were:

Online Booking facelift

With thousands of your clients using our Online Booking system, in 2015 we decided to give it a massive facelift and make it easier to use on all devices. Since the launch there’s been a 20% increase in the number of Online bookings – that’s huge!

If you’re a Kitomba customer and haven’t given Online Booking a go, you can trial it for free for 30-days – click here to get started.

Client form for iPad

We built this feature to save you hours of manual data entry and deciphering your client’s handwriting. And we’re not finished with it either! There’s some exciting updates to client cards just around the corner, including the ability to upload photos and documents. We’ll keep you posted! :)

Kitomba help centre

Feature requests, a searchable online knowledge base, requesting help online and referring friends to Kitomba were all added to Kitomba 1.

Onlien support newsletter feature

Shiny new reports in Kitomba 1

We added some useful reports to Kitomba 1, including the payments reconciliation report and centralised loyalty report for multi-site salons.

2015 Kitomba NZARH Business Awards

It was the 10th annual Kitomba NZARH Business Awards in 2015 and it was great to celebrate the success in our industry. Protege Hair from Wanganui were the overall winners. What a night it was! Check out all the winners from the night here.
